About Us:
On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a war of aggression on Ukraine. That day, our lives as well as the lives of every Ukrainian changed forever. We were no longer students, lawyers, or construction workers. No, because that day we became freedom fighters. Our regular lives stopped and our focus became on helping our country, friends, and family, to survive and win the war.
Since the start of the war we assisted in thousands of civilian and orphan evacuations as well as executed countless supply drops, consisting of food, medical, and hygiene supplies.

Why Mamay Project? pronounced (ma-ma-y)
Cossack Mamay was a Ukrainian folklore hero, known for spreading and enriching the Ukrainian culture and the bravery of cossacks (freedom fighters.) We hope to continue to carry on his message of freedom to share and protect our Ukrainian culture with the world.
